GForce Performance Chip. Anyone recommend this?

So I picked up a 2011 Ranger FX4 almost 2 weeks ago, and I have been browsing for aftermarket mods/accessories for it and I stumbled upon this:

http://www.gfchips.com/fordranger.aspx

It seems simple enough, I would just like to know if this is a good idea and if anyone would recommend this. I would like a little bit of an extra kick out of my Ranger, so if this would do the trick I won't think twice.

Thanks!

Waste of money... it's all BS. Click around.. it's all 60HP, 4-7 MPG's... for every vehicle you select. If you want more power, put in a V8.

You're right I didn't even think to do that, thanks! And I am likely going to swap in a V8 in the future. I'm just looking for something to push just a tiny bit more performance out of my 4.0 until the warranty is done in 5 years.

Any recommendations on a V8 swap? Like which engine I should get for the swap.

Thanks!

Besides that chip just wires into the iat sensor which is just gonna trick the ecu into to thinking the air is colder then what it really is
