^^^ I get better than that with a thirsty Chrysler V8.

Maybe a clogged cat? Did you replace the plugs with motorcraft ones? dirty MAF and filter? o2 sensors?

i get 14 combined, and 16 all highway. 33's, auto, steelies, and 4.10's. It's got 92K and burns oil faster then gas too. But even still i got 13mpg when i was only driving 2 mi's to work everyday in complete stop and go when it was stock.
What about a coil pack? How about wheel bearings and alignment?

x2! Was gonna ask properly gapped plugs????? Does Georgia run 10-15% ethonal in its fuel for the winter?? that 10% ethonal in oregon brings my mpg down to about the 14 range.

^^Add two cylinders, double the power, add a front diff, add 31s or 32s....and you'll see our mileage.

That would be it I bet, because you should get 15-17 city driving in the summer (non ethanol gas).

summer fuel has ethanol too, they just have something else mixed in that makes it worse. my mpg is 13-14 with the cold weather. short trips are not helping your truck out any. and the more you let it idle that does not help either.

I just went from the 235's to 31's and my mileage went from 19 to 18 city driving. I didn't even get that low when I had my 3.0 with 33's. I do have to say that the cold weather will affect the mpg somewhat. Try running some fuel injector cleaner through it.

Not all summer gas does. Michigan law states that you must advertise if you use ethanol in your fuel. Buying Bp, Mobil and Sunoco will get you gas that is ethanol free (at least in the summer months) Speedway even has stickers on there pumps that state, 10% ethanol...
