Throttle Cable Mod-- A Different Way?

i just did it on my 93 4.0
instead of zip ties i used a butt connector used for electrical
i cut it down to about 1/4"
it already has a cut in the connector much like a fishing weight
and then crimped it down but not really tight
seems like it will work
suggestions?????

should work fine. it serves the same purpose as the zipties...Filling in a gap.

Don't see why it wouldn't. Isn't a zip tie easier though?

Edit: ^^Damn, posted at the same time

yeah it seems to work
i was just wondering since the connector is metal VS. plastic if it will do anything to the cable
