3.0L to 4.0L swap

i just found out that i cracked a head, so now its time to swap, what all do i need to do the swap, i have a 2000 3.0L 4x4 AT

trans, wiring, computer, mounts, exhuast, throttle cable, hoses, radiator, etc.

Yeah, there's a lot of stuff that needs to be replaced, but it'll be worth every dime just to get rid of that 3.slow.

the kind that mates to a 4.0. the 4.0 doesn't share bolt patterns with any other ranger trans except the 2.9, but it's a far weaker trans.

ok thanks, how hard is the swap? cause i have a cousin that builds crawlers and i think im gonna need to call him up

the best and easiest way to do it is get a donor truck. be able to sit them side by side and pull whatever you need. i've done a 4.0 swap on my 93, but it's a newer motor so i'm dealing with wiring and a lot of other things.
