Need some help figuring this out my 2008 Ford ranger has some issues I just did a head gasket repair now I’m having a bad exhaust leak rough idle a bank one sensor one code says it’s running rich it stalls after awhile and it’s making a ticking noise at idle I replaced the egr valve and strait pipes the cats and I have replaced the bank sensors but still having issues any idea where I should start looking
Welcome to the forum
2008 Ranger will have a 4.0l SOHC engine
First thing is to do a compression test on all 6 cylinders, ALL spark plugs removed for the test, write down results of each cylinder
This is to test your head repair work
Expected compression number is 165-170 in all cylinders
An exhaust manifold leak will cause O2 sensor codes and a "tick" noise
Need exact code
There are many O2 sensor codes, for 1 sensor, as seen here: https://www.therangerstation.com/tec...II_codes.shtml

Okay. No text describing choices. So I selected 5 and 6, since I had to "vote" to see, but, again, nothing other than I am apparently the only one who voted.
Sure would like to know what 5 and 6 mean.
Not like 42, is it?
