I would like to have more power with my 1998 4.0 ohv 4x4. I have a limited budget and am going to buy a dynomax cat-back exhaust. in addition to that what upgrade would yeild the most power? I don't want to go over $400 or less if I can.

1. scraemin demon coil pack (do i need new plugs and wires with it?)

2. intake (which one)

3. programmer (I only want to run regular fuel)

4. underdrive pullies + E-fan

5. performance Cam (how much would it cost with lifters/gaskets)

6. headers

 

I'm in the same boat you're in. I heard bamachips are good. Not sure its worth the price though.

 

look on underdog..they have intakes for 169 and they claim u get double the hp then kn...fyi its cheaper to make ur own then spending 225 on a dynomax, im only at 50 bucks so far and with a muffle thatll make it just over 100 bucks...

 

i have the screamin demon coil pack ordered.. i bought some msd wires as well with the bocsh fusion plugs.. should all be in next week, i'll let u know how it works...
