Rough idle, bad throttle response

2005 4.0, approx 80,000 miles. Recently, the engine is having a slow throttle response while accelerating from a stop and performing very sluggish. I'm also having a rough idle at rest after driving. Could these issues be fixed with a simple tune-up or some other cleaning maintenance that's not listed in the maintenance manual?

Might as well start by giving it a good tune up

your throttle body requires a good cleaning , including the idle air port bore

also time for some new spark plugs
