There is no code that says bad IAC |
Welcome to the forum
+1 on the bad IAC Valve code, no OBD codes can ID a bad part, just bad signals or intermittent signals In any case it reads like you were losing fuel pressure, dirty fuel filter maybe And could have a leak in brake power booster, but not why it won't start now Do 50/50 test Spray fuel into the engine, gasoline, quick start(ether), carb cleaner, ect............... Try to start If it starts, runs and dies, then you have good spark but no fuel flow from injectors If it doesn't start then you have no spark 50/50 instant results on what to check next, no guessing When you first turn on the key you will HEAR the fuel pump run for 2 seconds and then shut off, its not quiet Repeat key off and then on as much as you like to HEAR if fuel pump is working When you turn on the key the CEL(check engine light) will come on, that means computer has Booted Up When engine starts to turn, cranking, the CEL should go OFF, that means computer is getting a good timing signal from Crank Sensor so will start spark and then open fuel injectors You can also crank engine over a few times then pull out ANY spark plug, its tip should be WET with fuel, if its DRY then no fuel is making it into the engine It spark plug tip is WET, light it with a match or lighter, should burn easily, if not there is NOT gasoline in your tank, its something else, if you just got gas prior to this then you got some "bad" gas, has water in it, it happens Engine would misfire, and barely run, and would not restart once it was cold, so could fit your description |
