Could it be spark plugs?
Hi all...I have a 2011 Ranger, 4.0, 5 speed, 20,000 miles...The truck has a low RPM stutter(1200 to 2000 rpm)..When I step on it, the stutter goes away!...Had it to, two different dealers (One said, They all run like that)...and they say there is no codes and they cant find anything...Its been doing this since there was around 5,000 miles on it!..Could it be the spark plugs?

I would try taking it to another mechanic and have him run a DTC scan. Sounds like a vacuum leak, but could possibly be spark plugs too. But with a 2011, unless there was a bad spark plug placed in the engine at the factory, a truck that new should not need the plugs replaced already. However, spark plugs are somewhat inexpensive and can be replaced in 1-2 hours by yourself. Just make sure the gap is set correctly at .054!

Also I would look at the MAF sensor as well. An incorrect mixture of air/fuel can cause a weird stutter too. Simply take the sensor out right after the air filter and use some MAF sensor specific cleaning solution and jet it off.
Idk if the dealership did this or not when you had it there, but you could have them reflash the computer back to a stock tune in case there is an updated tune for the computer. However if you are running a new tune from an aftermarket tuner, just use that tuner to reflash your computer.
Hope you can get your truck straightened up man!

Wouldn't the plugs be covered by the 3 yr 36,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty? Even it you bought it in Sept of 2010 as a 2011 model you have until Sept of 2013 for the 3/36warranty. Make Ford fix it.
I would at least investigate the 3/36 warranty first. I do not consider them a wear item like brakes or a clutch.
