another Alternator issue

Hi guys,

My alt does not charge any longer. The charge battery light is ON and I measured with voltmeter output directly on the battery and it gives me around 11.45 V

Checked all the terminal connections and noticed that Terminal A (Yellow wire) does not have 12 volts (+ battery terminal voltage) on it. It gave me reading of 5.05 volts.

So, I connected another wire from Battery + terminal to A connector on the ALT and it started to charge without issues. battery charge light in the instrument panel went off.

Can you guys tell me if this is Fusible Link problem on this yellow wire (alt A terminal Wire)
Can you tell me location of this F. Link?

I have 2003 ranger with 4.0 SOHC engine.

Thanks guys
Alex

It should go over to either the starter relay or the junction box. And it should be a fusible link.
