my '02 sounds like a big diesel when im accelerating at low rpms, at least from inside the cab

6500RPMS on a ranger my only gos up to 5500Rpms whats up with that

does anyone have a sound clip with out the cats. I was thinking about just cutting off my cat and leaving my muffler. I dont mind the sound now, but i want just a little louder
