I have been searching the net for well over an hour and can't find a dual out slant tip like the Lightning has. I only want the tip. Here's a pic of what I mean.

After searching, I'm pretty sure that all L's have a single in dual out muff with the dual outs making a 45 degree bend. Can anyone confirm or deny this?

Hopefully when Rols gets the chance to post a pic of his, it will shed some light on the subject. I suppose I could have the exhaust shop fab up something like is in the 2nd pic but I wonder how much extra that would be just to make something look just a bit more cool.

I'm sorry, but I am going to have to disagree with you. Here is my 3.0 with a original 40 SI/DO

I got the pics, I just have to load them to the computer. The pipe has to go around the frame and make a U, then make another turn to have the tips come out and look good. It cant have that 45 degree bend like the picture you posted because of the frame...Pics to come .

sorry, it sounds like a weed eater to me. my cousin had a flowmaster 40 on his 93 Splash and it sounded great at idle (like most flowmasters do) but once the R's picked up it sounded more and more like a weed eater.
