Welcome to the forum

If you can get regular copper Motorcraft spark plugs, or Autolite, the 4.0l OHV, other brands don't last as long, NGK is 3rd option

Use Regular copper or DOUBLE platinum only, no single platinum, they will wear out the same as regular copper

Gap is 0.054, so large and needs it

On coil pack firing order is
3 4
2 6
1 5
Front

The 5 6 4 side gets me also almost ever time, lol
So double check that side from cylinder to coil

Clean MAF sensor, easy to do, once a year
Put a bottle of Seafoam in the gas tank once a year, keeps injectors clean

Check throttle cable, they stretch so you don't get full throttle any more, Google: Ranger throttle cable mod
Easy cheap fix

Reverse heater noses at the firewall, keeps heater core cleaner, if engine temp on gauge randomly goes up and down then heater core is blocked, easy to change it, and not an expensive part
