4.0L's sound sweet

ar 6500rpm or whatever it peggs out at in 2nd gear(auto) doin about 75 haha.
almost sounds like a race truck

ha yea, 4.0s sound decent, i personally HATE HATE HATE HATE flowmasters on v6s, they get too dang raspy for my taste. and you can get the SAME muffler for 30bux ha.

i cant wait until i do internal work to the 4.0 and some cams

yea mine sounds similar to that, except it doesnt crackle. and its still factory sized tubing and dumped

damn i really like the sound of that bassani at idle!
does it get raspy and high pitch in the upper rpm range?

It gets a little louder, but stays deep like that. It cackles and pops a little bit when your downshifting.

Its just a Magnaflow catback single exit. Nothing else. I want to get some headers on it later.

yea i got headers on mine right now, but i had headers on before a muffler haha so i dont know if it got any louder. but spend the extra money on ceramic coated headers... the rusty look is ugly hah

hey rols, could you snap a pic of the underside of your exhaust? I want to do an exit before the rear wheel very similar to yours and the F-150 Lightning exhaust. What tip are you running and what diameter pipe?

How many of you guys have deleted the cat 'verter?

Here is my Gibson. The video is a little over a minute. You can hear the exhaust in the beginning and at the end it sounds really nice almost like a motorcycle but obviously not. This is my truck warming up and getting ready to head out for another day of ice fishing and snow romping! I love this exhaust!

You know what really sounds good... a 4.0 SOHC at 6000 rpm with JBA headers and Cat Back... oh and a Supercharger... those sound really good... lol
