AC issues

Arizona without AC is, IMO, a lot worse than hell. I've been having trouble with my AC since summer started, of course right.
Anyways, at highway speeds, it would blow humid but still cold. I looked at my cold side psi, and it was low so I charged it and voila I found a small leak in the high side. I still need to get that repaired.
Yesterday while driving home, I was going over 70 mph and the blower motor completely stopped but I still felt a cold draft coming from the vents. The motor comes back on and starts blowing hot air like the compressor turned off. I pulled over to check and nothing was wrong. Same thing happened today.
My question is, should I just redo the entire system, or replace certain parts?

If the pressure in the system is too low, it will disengage the compressor clutch, fix the leak before you do anything else.

So while I was replacing my brake pads I was checking my AC vacuum lines and one line disintegrated in my hand. I fixed it and my AC started working as well as it used to.
I just have to wait for a cool day and a free day so that I could fix that leak.
