94 4.0 cold air questions

so i would like to put a k&n intake on the truck but they do not make one for my specific year/engine (94/4.0)... but they do make one for explorers with the same engine in various years.. is this going to fit? has anyone done something similar? or does anyone have a better idea/brand? thanks all

..

They're not worth it..waste of money..Those cold air intakes dont work...Your stock truck is already set up with a TRUE cold air intake..Those cone filters just pull hot air in from your engine...All you need to do is just drop you a quality filter in that box and keep driving...Despite all allegations that the kits increase HP is BS....Save your money, if you want HP buy yourself a chip..and put on en exhaust and headers...

Hope this helps ya
