New Spark Plugs - Better MPG - Halo Plugs

After all of my mods I have done, I am now getting 19.5 highway with my truck. Not being satisfied with that, I am continuing to do things that are inexpensive that will cause me to see gains. I recently changed my plugs out to some Halo Plugs made by LSGBRISK. Some people think these are a joke, but they are the ones who have never tried them. From what I have found, those who have tried them have nothing but good things to say about them. I will be keeping you all posted as to the results of my little endeavor.

This is where I bought them from, they are here in Kansas and I had them in 3 days. He has been a great person to work with.

How old were the Spark plugs you replaced?

To see if the improvement was from these specific plugs you would have to compare them against other new plugs.

My old plugs were only in there for about 5000 miles. I will post replies.

Monay people have differing opinions on plugs. And strong ones at that too!

There are some basics that cannot be overlooked. And there are two areas where you get a good "bang for the buck".

1) Unshrouded spark: Lets the flame front to propigate outward from the spark in a spherical shape. That shape acts as a cushion and growing pressure on the face of all surfaces in the combustion chamber. And type of ground strap that gets in that flame front path causes waves of pressure to crash into each other. That causes in-efficiencies.

2) Low resistance. The lower the resistance the hotter the spark.. and the easier it is on the ignition system.
