Trans Fluid Change?

I purchased a trans fluid and gasket to replace my leaking gasket. My question is that it recomends for Mercon V and i noticed after the trans pan is off (Stupid Me) that the trans fluid i have is good for GM Dextron III and Ford Mercon. I am wondering If this fluid would be fine or should I go get Mercon V?

Dropping the pan & filter will take approx 5qts to refill. Maybe 6.. depending on how long it's sat.
(mercon V is expensive stuff)
