They sound good but dont perform as high as the straight threw designs. Course Its not going to really matter on a little motor anyhow. really depends on your sound preference. just get on youtube and look up ranger flowmaster.

nah 3in is too big, i got 2in tubes stock, and i looked on youtube but all the sound qualities suck so its kinda hard to get a good idea of the sound, right now i stuck between the 40 series or the super 44

Im rocking a 40 series and have always had them on my vehicle. 3" inlet with 2.5" outlets. My buddy said that's the best exhaust he's heard on a 6cyl.

I let the guy at the muffler shop sell me an original 40 series muffler just after getting my 2002 about 6 years ago. If you want LOUD then this is your muffler. I had some kids ask me if I was running a 5.0 when I had it on. I didn't think it sounded that powerful. I would say the 40 series is as close as you can get to straight pipes. I lived with it for about a year before I couldn't stand the noise and highway drone any longer. (I was 65 at the time) What's the sense of dropping a small fortune on speakers, subs, amps, etc if you can't hear them without really cranking it up, which I don't care for either. So if you're looking for LOUD I say get the 40. If you're looking for mellow, I'd suggest you look at something else.

I'am running a 40 with a single 2.5" inlet and duel 2.5" outlets. When hot sounds nice.
