best muffler for the 4.0

i only have a uni on my truck now, just would like to know whats the best muffler for the buck and you know gives a little more performance

just let me know

Magnaflow's are pretty quite. Flowmaster's are going to give you the most tone.

There is also Borla which makes a bad *** product, just not going to give you much tone.

It is the length of these straight "flow through" type of mufflers that determine the sound. The longer the muffler, the quieter (length has no effect on exhaust flow). I've found that start-up and idle is exciting with loud exhausts (of course full throttle is fantastic) but partial throttle under load (loud MOAN sound) gets old real quick. Be careful what you wish for!

This thread goes completely to personal preference.. I have run magnaflow and flowmaster now.. and I like the flowmaster the best but hey what do i know.. 6cyls dont sound that great with an exhaust anyways lol.

EXACTLY what I was gonna say lol I run a flowmaster 40 si/do its no v8 but it dosnt sound too bad for a v6...

Or, you can be like me, No muffler! straight thru dual exhaust angled at 45 degrees
