Bucking and stalling
 

I need some help with my 1990 ranger it’s got the 4.0 in it and it’s an automatic, the truck runs beautifully when just started then once the truck warms up if I try to accelerate too hard it will start bucking almost as if it’s jumping in and out of gear and sometimes when I stop the truck will stall out but after it stalls out and I cut it back on sometimes it will do just fine afterwards, does anyone have any ideas as to what might be causing this?

Clean the MAF sensor, once a year, easy to do
