can someone verify 4.0L info for me?

I have an upper and lower intake from my 1994 Ranger 4.0L listed for sale in classifieds. I was asked if it will fit the 1997 Ranger 4.0L. I can not think of any difference in the engines from a 94 to a 97 but just verifying before i tell the customer they are the same when there is a difference. please get back to me asap. Thank You

yes it will fit and work, but it isn't what came stock on the '97 Rangers...the '95+ 4.0 OHV came with a composite upper intake plenum while the '94 and older 4.0 OHV came with the aluminum like the one you have for sale...

what is the difference between the composite off the 97 and the aluminum off my 94? does it look identical to one an another just made from different material? or is something different?

not all '97 Rangers had the EGR.....if it does, then you can do an EGR delete mod, except you will also have to have the PCM flashed...
