Can't find the source of my coolant leak?
So I have this coolant leak that I have been chasing for awhile now, I performed a cylinder compression test, and all the cylinders are all within spec so I ruled out a blown headgasket. The leak had gotten pretty good in size, and appears to be coming from on the drivers side. I can see it dripping off the front of the oil pan, but cannot not see where the original source if the leak is. The truck has all new hoses, and hose clamps, did the water pump 500 miles ago and is well sealed no leaks there. I cant seem to find where is coming from, any ideas?
Check the weep hole on the underside of the water pump. You'll need either a mirror or to remove the WP pulley. Look for any whit-ish / green-ish trail leading from it.
Don't assume just because it's new that it doesn't leak.
