Claddering sound

When the engine is cold I get this sound while accelerating. It's really weird because if I let off the gas just a little bit it goes away. Then if I push down a tad it comes back. When im at full operating temperature I don't get any noise at all. Any ideas? Someone told me it might be something to do with the timing chains but of course wasn't sure. This has been like this for a while now and doesn't seem to be getting worse. Warranty expires in 4 months so I have some time to get it fixed. Thanks in advance.

that does sound like the timing chain rattle but i thought that issue was fixed after 04 if im not mistaken. if it has a warranty i would def have the dealer check it out before it expires.

This does help, Thanks. Im trying to find as much as I can before I take it in. So far this is all I can find. Im sure this would be an expensive fix without the warranty.

Well now it's all fixed and it was the timing chain issue. They had to replace the chain, tensioner, sprocket, guide, crank gear, crank seal, cover gasket, valve cover gaskets, and some bolts along with new coolant and oil change. Got job done for $100 thanks to my warranty. Also had them change the water pump and spark plugs while it was all apart. Truck runs perfect and noise free now.

Yeah if the mechanic had to do all that was posted before to your truck, not under warranty, you could be looking at like a $400+ repair possibly. Heck fire, Ford wanted $280 for just replacing the spark plugs and wires lol. I did it myself... much cheaper.
