huh?

you mean i can't just put my fluke voltage meter on it to check it?

ranger024x4 12-07-2006 09:10 AM

ON your DMM, do you have a resistance setting?

lifted97ranger 12-07-2006 09:11 AM

ummm let me look.....

lifted97ranger 12-07-2006 09:13 AM

nope....

-volts AC
-volts DC
-ohms
-amps

i guess it wont check it out then will it?

ranger024x4 12-07-2006 09:15 AM

ohms is resistance. Ohms is the measurement of resistance (like in car audio)

I swapped to the screamin demon so I have the one off my truck. It's a 2004 with 70,000 when I pulled it. It all checked out fine when I ohm'd it. Motorcraft site is down so I can't do a cross check between years on fitment.

The haynes manual outlines the ohm check on it.

yes, it's too late to get it out today. It could be done for Sat delivery or Monday.
