If you're looking for a tuner - search on here for the SCT X3 & my username.

It's been discussed many times over the years & I know I've made a few posts about my experiences with the different tuners that use the X3.

The SCT X3 is generally regarded as the best available custom tuner for our trucks.

Here is a few.

I always copy & paste the same response when a tuner is mentioned:

Yeah, the X4 is the new delivery method/hardware for it - but it really comes down to the custom tuner you have write the program for it.

The individual tuner can make a big difference on the final results - That's where you get the 'bang for the buck' from.

Also just to claify, I not talking about the generic or canned tune option. I see the X4 now comes with some 'pre-loaded' generic ones to start (AKA - Ford Ranger), but it can store 10 custom tunes. Those are the ones designed specifically for your individual setup.
