me too. but less now that I'm out of the honda phase.. just have to find someway to get that !$#% under my hood

i know if they werent reasonably expensive for a honda intake or if rangers didnt have the maf as far as possible away from the tb id be all over trying to jerryrig one on.

need me a theft proof 710 cap for when i go to eibach haha

Wow, I've been wondering about what cold air intakes actually do for performance, if anything. I'm glad I chose not to get one. I have, however, installed a K&N drop in filter, and removed the stock air silencer. I realize, based on this thread, that this doesn't help anything but sound, but does it hurt performance? It seems like the air turbulence, in the stock setup, was simply diverted to areas where it was less audible. Please, teach me your ways. :)

happened across this while searching "air silencer" and i have one question:

what part of this is custom? im confused because you can buy this at pepboy's....
