2500RPM+ = weird noise

whenever i accelerate and get around 2500-2700 the engine starts making some weird noise and i have no idea how to describe it. it kinda sounds like its maybe not gettin enough gas or something. im not really sure. it seems like it accelerates fine even when i does make the noise though
anyone else having this problem and know what i might be talking about

i looked on this thread and am thinking it might be along those lines. it doesn't really sound like a knocking noise though

if it sounds like a rattling noise its probably the timing chain. the tensioner are known to break and causes the chain to rattle at certain rpms. and to fix it i you will have to pull the engine out.
