my engine light keeps coming on and then it almost immediately shuts off. this is only occuring when i am still and in nuetral and when it becomes physically hard to put my truck in gear...its almost impossible...if this has happened to you or you know what the heck is going on...please let me know.

 

Hard to put in gear with the engine light flashing ???? Maybe bad clutch or tranny......giving you a bump

 

i dont think it is the tranny and the clutch is brand new...it will go in gear it is just physically hard to put it in...i was thinking maybe the gear box?? thanks for the opinion though im just not understanding...

 

The check engine light will not come on in an OBDI vehicle for a transmission issue, it will only come on for something that could effect the emissions of the vehicle or if a sensor is operating outside its limits

 

thats what i figured...i replaced a lot of the sensors and a lot of the symptoms went away but i still am havinf the problem of physically not able to put it into gear sometimes...vould it be that my fluid is low in my gear box? the clutch fluid is full.

 

i am thinking worn synchros or something to that affect but i have never seen one apart etc maybe also worn /// leaking slave cylinder
