Best 4.0L muffler

I have read a bunch of threads on mufflers and i can't tell what would give the best sound for my truck(4.0L ohv). I have a thrush glass pack now it's good at an idle but too "ricey" past 2500. I want to know what would give me the the deepest sound (for a V6 lol) threw out. Thanks.

Flowmaster 40 series. . . . . i cut off 1 CAT then welded on the 40 series mufler. . . .then put an elbow directing the exhaust down. So it's dumped. My **** sounds good!!

Flowmaster on any V6 or straight pipe on a DD V6 sounds like crap.

slowmasters are restrictive. i noticed a difference when i took mine off and put on a nice straight thru magnaflow muffler and 2.5" piping.

It is up to your ear.

I dislike the drone of a flowmaster.

I have magnaflow. Quiet around idle and screams when you put your foot down.

Experience with other 4.0s with them and other V6 cars and trucks with them. They all sound like crap.I have hear one that sounded decent but I'm not sure what chokemaster it was all I know is that he didn't just dump it like most people do.

Gibson setup is best for your money. But Magnaflow is DEFINITELY worth the extra money for the sound difference. A little more noticeable and deeper tone.
