I have mine straight piped (muffler removed) and they are run into duals out the back. It sounds great around the city but once you get above 60mph it gets really loud and drones way to much... to the point were you cant talk to another person.

I would say Flowmaster is going to be your best bet for what you want.

I got 2 1/5" into dual 2 1/4" pipes with a magnaflow muffler and it sounds great!!! Nice growl while
driving and gets pretty loud when you stomp on it. Flowmasters tend to sound kinda hollow... Like an echo in a coffee can kinda way... But that's my opinion

I really like the Flowmaster 70 series that I just got on. Sounds pretty great, but it gets almost near stock when your cruising

I run a Gibson dual, and its got a pretty good note to it. I would say however, if i were to do it again i would either run a Flowmaster 40, or run it straight after the cat.
