All I have to say about exhaust systems after hearing D.'s Magnaflow is...

I can't wait til I get $400 so I can buy a Magnaflow Cat-Back system...end of story.

The muffler was expensive, like 200$ of it ( thats the current price. I paid more due to the muffler being a new type ) .

I wouldn't buy a Magnaflo Cat-back system. I've seen 2 that didn't fit. right out of the box. Buy the muffler and have someone bend up the tubing for ya. It will run around the same price but will fit without a hammer .

A lot of people think I have a 289 in my truck.. I WISH I did :(

Leo told me to check on ebay and you can find lots of them at good prices. Just do a search on borla muffler.

OK thanks I will check ebay from time to time. I seen both of those mufflers when i went to Summit and Jegs.

I did a check on ebay found this. But would it work?

I would think so. The pipe coming out of the last cat is 2.5 so you'd just need to get 2.5 to the muffler. I think that is what Leo had set up. Might want to double check with him. Or maybe he'll read this over and enlighten us if that is the same muffler
