exhaust tips
 

im getting new tips for my exhaust, my setup is flowmaster super 44 single in dual str8 out the back. Im deciding between good old fashioned slant cut non rolled edge or turndowns. any suggestions?

Do the slant cut ones. The best looking in my opinion.

I think slant-cut tips are the best looking.

dam lol thanks for all the replies! the slants have it! i got 2 1/2 inch outlet piping, so i obviously would need a 3inch tip?

You can really do whatever size tip you want. I would stick with either a 3" or 3.5"

inlet size dont matter?

GUY AT MY MUFFLER SHOP SAID A 18 INCH TIP WOULDNT WORK, WOULD A 12 INCH WORK?

Did he say why it wouldn't work? The only restriction for size is space, as long as it fits it will work.

Gotcha, 12" tips will work fine then if they'll fit. Won't make a difference either way.

Please turn cap locks off, its annoying. 12in tips will be fine, stick with atleast 3.5 inch dia. though. Anything smaller makes our trucks look small. I have 2 3.5x18 tips waiting to be put on. Its just to cold right now, and define, slant tips.
