Hey, I searched and couldn't find anything. I have a 4.0 and am wondering what the height w/ oil pan, length, and width is of the SOHC. Dry weight would also be nice to have. I am planning on pulling the SOHC out of my truck and replacing it with something else... (not a 302, no not a 350, not a turbo 4cyl, not any V8, not a Cummins...keep guessing haha)... I just would like to know dims and weight before I start pulling things apart... thanks in advance

I guess I could look at the spec sheet on a 4BTA and see if my engine matches since the 4BT fits barely...

So nobody has a spec sheet on the 4.0 then? Guess I will just wait till I pull the motor and see if my Cat fits. Yes, a cat is going into my truck eventually. No, sorry, its not a 3208 haha.

Oh hell no haha. I have access to a Cat industrial motor and figure why not. Cat and custom adapter to make the trans and motor bolt up, some xfer case mods, oh and time. I won't have time to do that for a while...just wondering if anyone had a spec sheet laying around
