Hum well i have been doing some searching and drooling some searching and more drooling....then i starting looking at exhaust for my stranger and became confused....so ill keep it short.. what is the best sounding exhaust for the 4.0?

 

Straight pipe true dual, lol.

Id go with flowmaster. Ive always liked the sound of them. Ive got a flow super 44 on my 3.0. But Im still waiting out the "break in" period.

 

pacesetter headers + 3" piping + flowmaster 3 chamber muffler - cats and dump it = sexy

 

if you're gonna keep everything stock cept the muffler go flowmaster super 44 dumped. its the loudest and best sounding. if you're gonna do headers and cat deletes and all kinds of other **** then you have more options.

magnaflow has the best sound hands down! nice deep growl... if all you want is loud go flowmaster, although my magnaflow is pretty damn loud too

Very happy with Magnaflow, and no drone in the cab that can become annoying after a while.

 

I got a delta flow series 40 from flowmaster and duals from the cat back. It sounds pretty nice. Id like to get a super 44 or a true super 40 to put on it for more lower tones. The delta flow has a lot of chambering in it. Just letting ya know.

Wrong.....the loudest would be a straight through muffler...like mine. Go with with Flowmaster 10 series if you want it to be loud!
