Fuel pressure or voltage. A scan gauge will tell you everything you need to know, A/F ratio, Trans. Temp, Volts, etc etc......

x2 on the Transmission Temperature gauge

Or an accurate coolant temp gauge. I've heard the stock one is like an on off switch (Cold-Warm-Hot, like the needle only has three positions), but that may be wrong

This should help, you tap into the line going to the transmission cooler.

I have a set of these guages in my Mustang....they do everything. Your Tranny temp is monitered by your Rangers' computer along with most functions. Also, you can hook up a A/F meter which can be monitered by this guage too.

Trans temp for auto 1000000% I love mine its wonderful to see whats going on with it even with pulling. like the hills in TN if I am really flogging on the truck my temps will freak out. also with offroading in 4high auto trans do not like that atleast in the sand I usually stay in 4Low my temps stay 100% the same as on normal street driving. mud/trails little different then sand tho.

yes trans temp the auto meter will thread right into the access port on the side of a 5r55e, its so simple its like why not

also if you have alot of electrical when I had alot of lights a Volt guage is always great to have

There is a pressure port on the side of the trans, its a 1/4 npt (I think, not sure). This port is for the EPC pressure test. It is about the hottest reading you can get out of the trans as its after the pump and before the coolers.
