140 . . .

. . .

Kilometers per hour, that is - about high '80s in miles per hour.

They put a speed governor in for a reason, and I've never really seen the need to go any faster . . .

Besides, the gas mileage sucks enough as it is.

Wanna bet whoever has the record also probably rolled it, or did something else equally . . . ???

That would include everyone on the roads, as well as the driver of the truck.

Nothing against fast cars, but not on a public hwy - and not many who rig up their vehicles to go fast have enough discipline not to try it out.

It's a truck, not a sports car - and I've got nothing against speed, per se . . .

But I'll bet you all those people who went as fast as they said they did, did it on a public road.

If they had the sense and discipline to try it out on a controlled track, that's a different story . . . but I bet they didn't.

My speedometer only says 85! but it looked like it went ten past, and it was going to keep going too.

No limiter, it just wouldn't go any faster. That was with 33s.

Haven't had any need to do more than 80mph.

Done 132mph in an 87 Celica.
