Finally! I Seafoamed.

I finally went ahead and seafoamed the truck. Smoke very little at first than I started to up the RPM's and the smoke came pouring out. Took it for a ride to let it all come out and wow what a difference. Idle is so smooth now and I could barely hear it running at a stop light. I used about 1/3 of the bottle.

Great Stuff.

The only time is should stall is when you put it in your intake manifold.

Right, and he said it smoked so I am assuming that he did just that. I have never heard of sea foam causing smoke from pouring it in the gas tank.....

i pulled off one of the vacuum lines and stuck it in the bottle, but just enough to suck the fluid but not enough to kill it

Was that through the brake booster or did you use another vacuum hose?

Logan, it was thru the brake booster. I did this on my bonneville and it wanted to stall the whole time with that line off, thats why I asked how he did it. I needed someone in the car giving it gas....

Chris, if you put your finger over the tube when the engine is about to stall, the rpms come right back up.

It went in through the brake booster line.
When I took the line off I just held my thumb over it to keep the pressure there and slowly sucked up the seafoam.

I think you'd need alot more fluid than that to hydrolock... I hope so anyway.

I was worried about hydrolocking too, but I finally just said screw it and did it anyway. No problems at all! No guts, no glory right?

i did it to my truck a year or so ago and it smoked up my whole neighborhood rofl.

just suck half a can up with the brake booster hose, then let it sit for 15-30min.
after i let it sit for about 25min i went out and held it at about 2k for a min then drove it around.
