Haha the billowing smoke coming out of the tailpipes was intense. I find that seafoam is the only stuff that works at removing carbon buildup.

How often can you seafoam? Like, I don't throw it in the crankcase...just half/half brake booster & fuel tank.

What is it? What does it do? How do you use it? Where do you get it? How much does it cost?

Your supposed to stall the engine with the first dump, allow it to sit for about 10 minutes and them restart it and allow the loosened carbon to pass through the intake into the combustion chamber then out the tail pipe ? Any "check engine " light after that ?

It's no big deal. Do it before an oil change... maybe change spark plugs after... but CEL can be cleared at autozone.

Well, after reading some....every 10-20kms is sufficient to seafoam. Can't say I have tried the deep creep on the internals of the TB. Makes sense though.

O'Reilly's didn't have the deep creem stuff when I went. I just ran a bottle in my accord, along with 3/4 of a bottle in the gas tank, and 1/4 bottle in the oil. HOLY CRAP SMOKE, lol. Already seems to be running better tho... can't wait to do it on the truck when it needs an oil change.

I've wondered that also, I was going to try this, but i heard that it fouled plugs out pretty bad? anyone got some truth to that?
Also, I'm going to change my oil in like 500 miles, should i dump this junk in at like 50 miles to go and just drive it?

That link posted at the top of this thread was a good write up on the product and its uses. Check it out, it will most likely answer your question.

LOL Yea, my friends G/F became extremely concerned (alarmed is more the word) when I Seafoamed his Exploder after doing up the intake gaskets. "This truck has never ever smoked like that before - wtf did you do to it?!" She was quite relieved when it stopped. Runs really well now with the new gaskets, Seafoaming, and full tune up. LOL

I just gave it a 20 minute smash the gas pedal run after runs fine. Now. My girls neon anything over 2000 rom it would bog out. After that stopped I'd rev up too 4000 and the valves sounded awful

Threw some in the Oil and Crankcase today. Im gonna change my oil probably tomorrow.
I'm not gonna do the whole vacuum thing like they suggest, my engine has 167k (roughly) and its never been done before, somehow i don't think that is a good idea.

Whatever goes into my oil would get burned in 1000 miles, if i left it in there for that long. I really gotta replace that passenger side valve cover gasket.
