Ok, after going on a wild goose chase with local automotive parts suppliers I'm about fit to be tied. No one here local regularly stocks the AP5143 Autolite platinum spark plug, which is an OE replacement for the motorcraft plugs. AND no one locally carries the motorcraft plugs either unless I go to the dealership and I've vowed to never go to Borman Autoplex Service Dept again. So, the soluntion - I ordered the plugs from Parts America.com. I also ordered the Autolite Wire Set 97051, but apparently it is not available even though partsamerica.com says they are in stock. They wanted to substitute it with PowerPath wire set. I cancelled that sub and I've tried to locate other sources for the 97051 wire set.

Which now brings me here. I can't locate this wire set available anywhere. Amazon.com has a waiting list. And autolite's website lists suppliers but none carry the 97051 part. I'm not hell bent on getting these wires, though it seems it. Rather, I'm curious what are some good alternatives now since I can't seem to locate the autolite wires (I can't even get the pro-fit wires 87112 locally)?
