Changed plugs on my '04 yesterday for the first time in 130K miles. I know, my bad. They looked horrible. Put in Autolite. What a pain though as old boys like me are used to sitting in the engine compartment doing stuff like this and having enough room to swing clubs. Not happening with this truck. Anyway, after quite alot of pain, got them all changed and it idled fine. When I took it for a spin though, two things happened: (1) the air conditioning wasn't working properly and (2) had a bad stumble right off of idle. Figured out I had two hoses crossed for that "bubble" that attaches to the passenger side inner fender well. AC now works fine. However, still have that miss. I'm thinking that perhaps I inadvertantly disconnected a vacuum line or something, Any thoughts? Thank you.

 

Did you check if you hooked up the spark plug wires in the wrong firing order??

or possibly just a loose wire near the block?

 

Those certainly could causer my problem paganwars. Only removed one wire at a time and ensured at least the left side wires are attached nice and tight. I can't even get to the ones on the passenger side without ripping the fender well apart again. May have to though.
