help with my ranger please

I have a 93 ranger that is running really bad. It started stalling while idling maybe 4 or 5 times a week Then it started getting worse and when going down the rd it seemed like someone just flipped the key to the off position and then back to the on position. whats odd is it would go for a week or two with no problems at all and then start acting up again. Today it started running really rough i made it about 1/2 a mile and had to turn around and come back home. I noticed that the voltage gauge was all over the place while i was trying to get back home. I took it to a mechanic he tested a few things and ran 1/2 tank of gas out but had no problems out of it. It started acting up again about a week after he looked at it so i took it back to him and he told me he thought it was the computer screwing up.I had another person look at it and he recommended i change out the throttle position sensor. we changed that it ran fine for 2 days then it started acting up again. I tried to pull the codes and a few times it seemed to give me just random numbers but i consistently get 33 and 13.

Another problem I seem to be having is locating a computer I have called everyone and kind not find a replacement.

1993 ford ranger xlt
4.0 v-6
automatic
2 wheel drive

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Like my Buddy always tells me (He was a service Manager for a Dealership and he is an excellent mechanic)...." I tell you to change the spark plugs and the wires because that cures a great many of the complaints. Plugs and Wires Break Down and need to be replaced." He and I had lively discussions before he gave me his rational. :D Be sure to use the CORRECT Ford plugs and Ford Wires. If you don't put quality stuff in there you might just be replaceing bad with bad.

Good Luck !

Have you ever changed the plugs or wires? Sounds like they are the culprit
