I had a true dual set up on my 93 regular cab. It sounded good on the 3.slow so I bet it would sound even better on the 4.0. It was 2 single in/single out Flowmaster 40's with
3'' tips.

It was done at an exhaust shop, so you could say it's custom, I really wouldn't have it any other way. It's not hard for an experienced exhaust shop to make duals going which ever way you want it going

It was pretty expensive for me, hell I think I paid 100 dollars for 2 stainless steel 3.5" x 22" tips, another 100 for the muffler, maybe 80 bucks in pipe plus the labor

if you want an exhaust done, goto whiteys automotive in chantilly. They have done exhausts on all of my cars and they are great people! Quention can do anything you want. He did a lightning style side exit on my ranger

I would love to see someone use a Bassani race muffler on a ranger and gut the cat.
Here is a race setup on a Mustang:

Yeah man I have a 93 Splash as well and to be honest I don't really like the duels out the back I am doing side exhast that comes out right under the body in front of the right rear tire. I have 40 series flowmasters on my muscle car and I like it on that car but for a everyday driver it would drive me nuts its to loud I am going with Borla or Bassani exhast on mine

it doesn't matter really if the place you get it done at is good they will resize the piping to fit it....but go with 2 1/2 thats what i have on mine, if your pipes are to large it messes with the exhaust flow and can lower the amount of horsepower gain....so get it larger but not to large 2 1/2 is cutting it for a v-6 but if you had an 8 you could go larger due to the larger amount of exhaust flow...there are 2 main reasons for getting an exhaust, 1.better sound, and 2.more horsepower and to tell you the truth the 4.0L ohv doesnt have enough for me so im gonna buy an sohc and slap that in because its more of a higher end engine and it has a more aggressive cam but not as much torque :(

I personally would go with magnaflow. Good tone and not drony at all in the cab.

Impatient much? Get offset in, if you do center in the muffler will hang low and be visible from the side. Outlets don't matter, whatever you want.

It should be offset to the bottom of the muffler. Here's an example, offset in/center out
