I was under the impression that the tensioner was all pre loaded and tightens when you take the wrench off it. That's how it's always been with me.

The engines are equipped with an automatic belt tensioner. No adjustment is possible or necessary.

Can i take pictures when you drive into the ocean? Might be too late for the photo contest... but it'd be funny.

What belt did you put on? I put a Gatorback on my 4.0L and sprayed a lil belt dressing on, its never made any noise in well over a year.

I did the same thing, minus the belt dressing. Still never had a belt squeak.

I do get the cold pulley bearing squeak when it's really cold outside on cold starts from time to time
