4.0's and high milage
So im gettin back into the game, since i bought a GMC i have been ranger-less for over a year. so i convinced my brother to buy a ranger for his first truck anyway its the same thing i had, 95 4.0 but mine3 was an auto and this is a 5 speed. it has 187k on it, do i need to worry about much with high miles on the 4.0's i know mine had 145k and it ran pretty good just lookin for some feedback on what i can learn so my bro buys the right truck

I just turned 340K on my 2002. I've been running on synthetic since the first oil change. A couple of things have been replaced. The fuel pump at 180K anf the belt tensioner at around 110K. Other then the occasional tune-up, that's all I've had to do. The last tune up still showed it has good compression is all six cylinders.
It is beginning to show some age though. Sometimes it takes a little cranking to get started but it's not really a chronic problem. I'm thinking maybe it needs some injector work? I'm not really sure.
