Info Please

I have a 99 Ranger, 4.0 XLT 4x4 that Ive owned since 2001. It has 201.000 miles. I bought it with 26,000. I guess all this info really has nothing to do with my question. The pic below the sticker on the valve cover. While I understand most of the info my question, what does MAN LHD stand for??

Or just "Left Hand" for the driver side valve cover, I think the left and right valve covers are different.

I thought this might be the meaning but thought it was strange.

Ha...is the OP's '99 4.0l an OHV or SOHC? Both were available that year.
If it's the SOHC be aware that the left side valve cover (driver's side No. America) has the PCV valve against the firewall and care should be taken whilst servicing it.
Breaking the plastic part which is part of the cover (the part the PCV valve itself quarter turns into) results in a hard search for a replacement or tedious repair.
