Installing Flowmaster Muffler??

Will a Flowmaster Super 44 fit a 2008 Ford Ranger Sport 4x4?
If so is it installed on its side or flat?

Install it at w/e angle it will fit the best. To determine it it will fit you need to measure the outer diameter of the inlet pipe and the od the exit pipe and get a cordinate sized muffler. Or bend pipes to fit the muffler.

For best fit.....you need an offset in/center out. Vertical with a slight angle(looking like this from the rear of the truck : \ )

Any muffler will fit just about ANY car or truck. Espicially trucks.

you have room to play with it. thats the beauty of having a truck. but do like shane said and that SHOULD fit stock. granted you have to make sure the length is correct. i know those super 44's are kinda long. especially if you are just picking one up at your local parts store...
