i really wanna buy an intake soon, and i have been looking at an AFE, and a MAC. i can't decide which one to get. the MAC is cheaper, but i heard that the AFE is better for my exhaust. give me some opinions please

I made my intake using an AEM Filter($45), a piece of 3" exhaust tubing($5) and a little piece of steel plate(free).
check it out

Its a lil ghetto and doesnt replace the intake tube but it seems like it must be less restrictive then stock. I made a tube outa PVC Pipe but i have to work on getting the PCV line to stay in it and not fall out. Just needs a gromet of the right size but its been running great with it the way it is so wtf.

If ur interested and dont have access to a welder i would be willing to make these for people.

EDIT: I also did the MAF mod which probably helps a hell of a lot more then any bolt on intake u could buy.
