Been getting worse, but last Sunday I started it and it ran kinda rough with low rpms then died. Now all it does is crank but not even trying to fire. If I could get my OBDii to connect I might have some info but alas, it won't. Any suggestions on where to start?

 

if odbii wont work i would first look into that. Fuses, wires and then maybe bad pcm?

has odbii worked in the past?

 

All the fuses are good. The obdii worked just fine about a year ago, and it connects to the 07 focus no problem. I'll look into the pcm. Thank you for the tips

 

could be pcm or pats my remote start gave me fits with pats sometimes it would not sense the key after start and die so i would assume if the chip in the key or sensor in the column is going bad it may not be getting the signal causing it to freak out and cut the spark.

 

Wow, never even considered that. I'll try the newer key I had made for the wife just to eliminate it. Thanks for the lead :)

Not yet. I'm probably gonna wait till the first of the year and have it towed to my mechanic. :( I really miss points and Carbs
