Well i was looking up intakes for the ranger, and fram is saying they give a 13.6 HP gain, and K&N is only showing 6.9 HP gain....Im thinking for the 209.00 For the fram i may try it and see whats up...my buddy put on his 98 dodge and is sounds and performs great...Just wondering if any one here has one on there truck yet??? And what they have to say about it....

dont expect that much hp.

Maybe you'd get a few. PAir it wait a dual exhaust and you're in a better boat.

I don't remember how they get the results, but its kinda snekay bull****. "oh, we just added a filter and exhaust, and we got 16 hp. That means the filter did it".

Basically dont expect any gain. You may get a lil, who knows, but still, don't expect any. An intake for sure is nice tho. I have one. www.ssd4u.com

In their advertising Fram states hp gain is @approx. 5500 RPM. Think about it...
